A Wonder of WordPress (WoW) website is a simple website that starts off as ONE page. But it can be easily extended.. by yourself... once you know how.
The basic configuration of a WoW style site is:
Home page
The home page or the landing page is the first point of call and the place to which people return when they've finished doing something. Sometime the home page is a blog page, but more often than not it's the page that lays out your wears.

About the Bobbing Wide web design blog
The Bobbing Wide web design blog is a WordPress website.
In terms of size it equates to a Gold level website but under the covers it's still very much a Wonder of WordPress site.
The web design blog is aggregated on this site... so you don't have to go there to read the articles.

This is the Facebook page ( /content/facebook ) which I am using to find out about the Drupal fb suite of modules. All I wanted to do was to be able to get Drupal to update my Bobbing Wide Facebook page whenever I wrote a blog or a newsletter.
Also, I wanted to be able to support the Like button (in addition to Share This)

The Facebook Like Button is a bit of code that shows users how popular your page or post is.
If you have the JavaScript SDK installed then you can use the XFBML version.

This will produce the button as shown below.

Facebook Like button - embedded xfbml
With fb.module you can easily put a Like Button in you content using the following code.

So it should look like this
There are three versions of the button, controlled by the layout keyword.
- standard
- (as above) displays social text to the right of the button and friends' profile photos below. Minimum width: 225 pixels. Default width: 450 pixels. Height: 35 pixels (without photos) or 80 pixels (with photos).
This is another example of the standard button, but without faces
- button_count
- displays the total number of likes to the right of the button. Minimum width: 90 pixels. Default width: 90 pixels. Height: 20 pixels.
- box_count
- displays the total number of likes above the button. Minimum width: 55 pixels. Default width: 55 pixels. Height: 65 pixels.
Facebook Recent Activity
The Activity Feed plugin displays the most interesting recent activity on your site.
The XFBML is <fb:activity></fb:activity>
It will produce something like this.
This is normally displayed in a block. You can see it on the /content/facebook page.
Wonder of WordPress website and blog
A Wonder of WordPress website and blog is the new name for a WordPress one-page Wonder website.
The name change reflects the fact that a WoW website is never just one page; it can be as many pages as you need.
