Bronze

Bronze level sites are starter web sites. They advertise your existence on the internet, but are not particularly interactive.

Wine and Sign

Wine and Sign website ( Jan 2011 )

This was a static website that relied heavily on tables and images.

It also had a timed landing page.

Although there were two domain names, the .co.uk did not go anywhere.

David Page Engineering (pre Aug 2010)

Page specialist engineering before August 2010

This website had a simple menu with five pages. There was very little content, except for the gallery of images. There were no words to describe any of the images. The site was clearly still "under construction.... and appeared to have been like that for some time".

It has now been replaced with Bobbing Wide solution.

SEO enabled

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization.

It's one of the things that we do to get your site to the top of Google, Bing and Yahoo!

All Bobbing Wide websites come with the appropriate plugins/modules that improve your chances for getting to the top of the search engine lists.

Home page

The home page or the landing page is the first point of call and the place to which people return when they've finished doing something. Sometime the home page is a blog page, but more often than not it's the page that lays out your wears.

Share/Bookmark buttons

Choose how you want people to share your content, be it through social networking sites, bookmarking sites or email.

RSS feed (Really Simple Syndication)

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) enables people to use feed readers to follow your blog, announcements, or whatever. RSS files are essentially XML formatted plain text, that can be read by computers more easily than humans.

Twitter integration

Integrate your site (not just your blog) with Twitter. So you can blog and Tweet at the same time.

Facebook integration

Integrate your website with your Facebook account(s) so that you can

  • publish new items to your Facebook personal or business pages
  • get people to follow you on Facebook
  • show who Likes your website
  •

blog

blog is an abbreviation of web log.

Contact form

A Contact form, whether it be entitled 'Contact me' or 'Contact us',  enables your readers to write a short message to you.
